Chatuge Two Day Team

I’m not going to say this was a great trip.  It was sunny, hot and most of the time there was ZERO wind.  Water temp around 79º and very clear.  Lake about 2.5 feet low.  Many fish were found and few would bite! Frustrating!

1st - Kelly and Jules (mostly Jules)  10 - 18.99lbs

2nd - Sterling and Mason 9 - 14.00lbs

3rd - Ron and Maurice  5 - 10.75lbs

Big Fish - Steve - 3.82lbs

Burton 2 Day that was a 1 Day

Nice day that got really busy by lunch.  ROUGH!    Bad weather came in Saturday evening and made a mess of the street leading to Steve’s where many of us were staying.  That, plus the forecast of severe weather Sunday morning (which did happen) lead us to scrap day two.  Thanks again the Steve for the hospitality.

May 17 & 18 - Lanier

May 17th - Individual - Duckett Mill ramp

Cloudy with some drizzle and gusty wind.  Water temp low 70’s

Only 5 limits!

May 18th was pretty much the same weather, but more fish were caught.  Balus ramp, which was NOT a good choice.  Very crowded in the afternoon especially.

Prez - Chick - 2Day Team  4/12-13/25

Lake Chickamauga welcomed us with sunny, blue skies, and cold mornings that invigorated the spirit. A wind danced across the surface, while the water temperature hovered around 62º, presenting a stained yet promising fishing environment. Despite a challenging day one with four zeroes, day two brought better luck and renewed hope for the adventure ahead. The beauty of the lake and the thrill of fishing kept us coming back for more.

March 16th

A pretty good day on the lake!  Bad storms the night before passed through and left us with a cloudy morning and light wind.  Around noon the clouds cleared out and the wind came up.  Water temps around 59º.

Feb tournament canceled due to ugly weather.  March 9th was not bad with partly cloudy, light winds, mild temps and low 50s water temps.  The fish were very finicky. NO 5 fish limits! Chris takes 1st place and Ron had BF with a 6.08!

Kathy takes the top spot on the points race!!!

Next will be March 16th at Six Mile Ramp.  Pairings and details for March tournaments are below.
